  • We accept both but reservations speed up your check-in time to get you on the water faster!

  • As late as walking up to the building works! If you book prior to 24 hours of the reservation time an early bird discount is automatically applied to the price!

  • It cost $25 for all day, this includes the Tube Rental and Shuttle Service. One member of the renting party must be 18.

  • Yes we require a $25 Deposit per Tube either Cash or Card (Maximum of $100) which is released when you return your Token and Wristband! 

  • Cash, Card, and even Checks!

  • As long as you contact us prior to two hours of your reservation we can offer a Refund!

  • There is no requirement for children to have a life jacket, but we strongly encourage it for younger or weaker swimmers. We offer universal Life Jackets for Rent at $5 extra with a tube rental.

  • Yes! You could purchase only a shuttle pass for $15 and we'll transport you and your Tube back to the start of the float. Alternatively, the River is completely open to the public, you can float completely separate from the services we provide.

  • Yes we allow Dogs on our tubes and in the shuttles, please be mindful of their claws, we recommend bringing an extra layer to put underneath them!

  • We will post an announcement on our socials and website an hour before opening (9AM) with any updates on the river conditions that we wouldn't feel comfortable floating in ourselves!

  • We're open rain or shine, if the weather gets too dangerous or there is lightning within a 10 mile radius, we will temporarily close pending continuing weather conditions.

    We'll make an announcement across our Socials and Website an hour before opening to determine whether we'll close for the day due to bad weather. If we close due to weather, we'll attempt to contact all reservations for that day to begin the refund process for you.

  • You can park at the adjacent City Park lot, which is now paid parking operated by the City, on Weekends you can park along Jowers or in the TXST Stadium lot which is now paid parking operated by the University, and you could also park at the Public Library or Activity Center for free with a little bit of a walk.

  • Depending on recently weather the float can take anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour. With a 5-10 minute shuttle ride you can float multiple times in a day for that single payment and even break your floats up with a quick walk to downtown San Marcos for some food!

  • We recommend a towel, sunscreen, and a float pouch for your phone at the very least. We offer a lot of river related merchandise at our tubing store, such as float pouches and river shoes. Anything you might not have remembered we should have for you here!

  • Your car keys! Try to leave them somewhere safe or rent a locker with us to store them. Ending a fun day at the river waiting for a locksmith isn't the best feeling.

  • Yes, as part of the City of San Marcos Single Use Container Restrictions, they monitor and allow for a cooler with maximum size of 30qt.

  • State law prohibits Glass containers, alcohol is allowed in the River but with the City of San Marcos Single Use Container Restrictions it must be in a reusable container.
